Sydney 2030… Monocle’s No.1 city?

Does the mere mention of the word sustainable bring on the hot flushed pre-election yawns? Perhaps you've already trashed my words in favour of blocking your latest Facebook friend application. We're all hard-pressed… paying off stupid weekly rents or billion dollar mortgages, affording the new 4D TV or Country Trader antique 1,000 candle chandelier, but do you really have an idea of what the powers that be are working towards for our city? We're all slaving at the too-busy end of the stick, barely affording lunch and mindlessly direct debiting utilities and council rates with more time invested in the whinge than investigation.

So I've put together a brief virtual white paper for you. A summary of my search abouts on the sizzling topic of current state emissions, schemes, implementations and their projections… all those big words councils and governments love to big note their over-paged findings with. Surprisingly, there's a slow but steady good starting to happen.
